EPBC has a rich and diverse history. Since 1908 the bowling club has been an important part of the local community and has been  a beacon of sporting excellence.  The club was founded in the Edwardian era when Rhyl was thriving as a seaside resort. The club has provided a safe environment for experienced and novice bowlers to meet and socialize, swap stories and make new and lasting  friendships. EPBC was such a prestigious bowling club that the first Crown Green Bowls International match was held on its hallowed greens ( see poster below). Jack Hunt who played for Wales was in 2023 the WCGBA President. EPBC has over the years welcomed top bowlers playing in top competitions such as the 1980s Midland Bank Pairs with prize money of £10,000.
